A poem about a lost soul. A man who has lost his girlfriend.

Hairpin

Staring at your face,

looking into those deep eyes,

rain starts to fall,

you hair starts to shine.

In the dark night you stand,

in all your glory and grace,

your life spirit glowing in blue,

your crimson heart pounding,

Tears of grey starts pouring,

turning whiter for every second,

suddenly your body start to tremble,

I watch you standing there and I can't move,

A shadowy presence appears,

an unknown entity,

forsaken in mind,

dead in spirit,

Your hair stop shining,

fading slowly away,

your crimson heart stops pounding,

fading away from me,

On the ground it lies,

all that is left,

one last memory of you,

your beautiful Hairpin..

blackestdaze
life is so unfair. and a person who has lost a love, is indeed a lost soul. intriguing thought about all there being left is a hairpin.

this is very well written... keep it up.
