There is sadness in the world and loneliness and fear. I am blessed by happiness now but I have known sadness for many years in the past. This is an acknowledgement of the sorrow that some of my friends and loved ones are feeling now.

Drops of Heartaches

tears

drops
of
heartaches

coursing
down
the face
of life

a
flooding
rain
of
depletion
of
contention
of
loneliness

oh
wash
away
the
pain

tears
leave
stains
of
memories

Very touching Kathy, sadness can so often overcome our lives from time to time - I hate those dark clouds too

This is so good. It has so much meat in it. It is so relevant. It reads from the heart. So much truth here.

A very sweet poem, that just falls down the page, just like the tears it speaks of kathy. A very considerate thing for a person to do for their friends, especially when they are in the midst of happiness, is to consider their pain. I appreciate this poem very much, and hope the tears will stop one day and only the good memories be left in their place. Smiling at you, Tai
