Ambiguity
Speak gently O' ghastly night!
pour some silence upon your lips,
mourn gently into the last watches,
console down these raging winds,
mute down these monotonous cries,
strangle cold the night bird!
swarm up this prevailing sorrow,
so nothing bright could ever sing,
till on the horizon a flicker erupts,
and light floods into this crucible grim,
Vivid colours reign supreme,
life burst open with morning vigour,
and night dies a natural death,
to be reborn in same form, similiar colour,
black from sanity
white from vanity.
Life surely thrives in intrigue and ambiguity.
