sometimes poetry sings a lullaby to me a soothing balm of love. this is one of those times. healing starts inside the heart.

the beauty of the seed

a flower lives inside a seed
awaiting the time of its birth
a blossom grows inside a bud
it's the splendor of heaven and earth
for life is ever a transition without
a true beginning or end
it's the way of faith and hope and love
it's the beauty that flows from within

Exquisit. I love the tempo which added to the words, reminds me of a mother rocking an upset child to sleep. It is soothing, comforting, and assuring.
The wisdom of its truth is beautifully stated.

Too true, Kathy, that all the invisible elements of the human heart never die, but live forever in the trees, the sky, the riverbed. Excellent piece!
