Let Me Give You My Hand
Give to me what you will
Then let me give you my hand
Take from me tenderness and care
Let them flow to you like seeds in the air
Do you see them?
Like snow flakes they drift
Down upon your fertile land
Take them please and know
Kindness grows even in the deepest sand
Spread them out amongst the hated
Feed them to those who starve
Reap a bounty of goodness and blessings
In knowing that giving is better than receiving
And love grows in those who believe in
Sharing even a morsel of goodwill
For it will multiply until
It circles around the world
And your empty hand will soon be filled
With more than you have ever held
The harvest will bountifully yield
Palms facing up and facing down
Hand holding hand across many lands
And then I will ask only
One thing of you still--
Please, take of me
Just what you will.
