A Thousand Messages

Each leaf that falls

I count as a message of love

One

Two

Three

A thousand

Messages

Falling from the trees

Your name written on each one

I gather them in the pocket of my heart

Keeping memories forever inside

Alive

Each snowflake that falls

I count as your kisses

As they land upon my upturned face

One

Two

Three

A thousand

Kisses

I taste each one

The sweetness comforts me

Even in the cold

They give me warmth

Each raindrop that falls

I count them as tears

Falling from Heaven

Mixed with mine

We inspire life to be reborn

Our union creating life

One

Two

Three

A thousand

Tears of love quench the thirst of the soul

Each flower that blooms

Each Tree that buds

I count them as messages of hope

One

Two

Three

A thousand

Signs of you living in the world around me

Thousands of messages

Thousands of signs of your love

A thousand forevers of you

Now when I look at a tree I can think of this poem, beautifully portrayed and said in your graceful tone and feel.

Your heart wrote this wonderful poem. I am so happy your heart can see so clearly all the ways and all the places from where love comes. Remember this poem when you feel lonely and abandoned. Remember, love is reaching out for you all the time.
When you desparately need a physical hug, find a family member or a friend. It isn't the same, I know. But it will remind you that you are treasured. And it will help get you through the lonely moments.

Beautiful poetry Kathy and so true of the signs that his love is surrounding you always, I recognised the signs, it is a comforting thing, you just know they are there with you.....Once when one of my sons was in a spot of trouble, I was their waiting outside a building at night, to meet him, full of despair and worry and up from a staircase, a white feather came drifting up directly in front of me....it swirled upwards and was bathed in light! I just knew he was there, supporting me in our hour of family distress.....

They never leave our side, or hearts, our minds and your deepest sighs.....A thousand messages of love to you
