My deepest thanks to Dublin and the Irish countryside

Soothing Eire

Softly, softly

Let go of those heavy thoughts, let them figure themselves out

Gently, gently

Those rolling hills and fresh winds of a wild and beautiful country
hush my worries and show me the hope

Slowly, slowly

I remember what it's like to truly laugh and smile again
Even if my life stays the same

An uplifting yet serene read, I was right back there in southern Ireland, its beauty soothes the mind and the last two lines ring true.

It must be a magical place to inspire such a lyrical and grateful hymn. "May the road rise up to meet you . . ."

This reads as a magic spell. An incantation against the slings and arrows. It leaves me with a feeling of detached well being much the way I feel when sailing alone.

Thanks for this

Joe

Beautiful indeed, slowly or swiftly, gaily or festive.
