One sip

One smile

A connection of unknown proportions hits me
and I jump on it, knowing it is for me

A twinkle in his eyes

With one sweeping movement I seize power over my life again
throwing out the bad, keeping the good, knowing what's what
Sober again

A gentle and insecure kiss on my cheek

Old, rotten structures fall crashing down, peeling from my mind
and I know where to go, what needs to be done
to be felt and to be interpreted

He takes my hand and kisses me deeply

Like a girl I panic and forget what I actually feel
and he takes a step back

Two cups of hot chocolate

Our answers stand before us

Oops, I meant to give them all a 5 sorry about that, the format was especially pleasing to the eye.

I liked this, the realism, the realisation and a gesture that means a lot and a whole lotta love. I enjoyed the line "old rotten structures fall..........that seems to be the moment of realisation, great description.
