The title is inspired by a concept presented in House MD, episode 312 "One Day, One Room", which I have used onwards to describe a perspective on how I relate to people that are in my life. The poem itself is written in one of my calmer moments.
your hands firmly on my hips
yet I seem to forget at times that you are there
until you pull me nearer
and I feel your warm body against my back
and I stop caring that you have no promises
I stop caring that I have no promises
Because as long as you stay here
in this room with me
the days can pass by
I will live and do all those things I need to do
I am not worried
about you and me
Just don't leave the room yet

One moment, One room
I feel you breathe gently on my neckyour hands firmly on my hips
yet I seem to forget at times that you are there
until you pull me nearer
and I feel your warm body against my back
and I stop caring that you have no promises
I stop caring that I have no promises
Because as long as you stay here
in this room with me
the days can pass by
I will live and do all those things I need to do
I am not worried
about you and me
Just don't leave the room yet
