The sea
Swirl you origin of unending waves,
you cause of flickering reflections,
rolling over breaking bastions of faith
with their ragged coastline struggle,
unfettered by invisible air,
merging with transparencies.
Singeing what ifs curl and die
at the face of inevitability,
weaknesses regain their names
when liquid is cheap
and messages keep their essence
in breaths of blue tonalities.
The ice that breaks at dawn
forfeits all of your lost intentions,
sallow dreams surface walk
at the gates of surveillance.
Who is the seer at the doorway?
Who is it that baits continuance?
Pink spreads of desire
drift over waves of wisdom
where genetic belonging
is a mere physical drive
into uncharted mellow marshes
of breakable songs.
