Quest For the Holy Grail

her screams echo
in the silent corridors
of the secluded sanctuary:
the personification of evil

the sceptre is broken,
the commandment transgressed
and the king shall no longer
sit upon his throne in jerusalem

"may peace everlasting be unto you, truly"

prayers being offered each day unto
the last standing piece of the structure.
when the stone falls into the water,
it shall not a sound make

it happened in this city,
and these walls are now silent.
the sound of shalom
was never even heard at all
