Underneath An Earthly Star
There is a ghost that grieves
Underneath an earthly star somewhere
I know what she believes
Still, haunting in my hemisphere
There are worlds lost in a raindrop splash
The feathery frost is like lace on her
Visiting in a s l o w m o t i o n flash
With whispery voice like a night wings whirÂ
No soul confined in stone and iron bound hide
May ever see into the infinite orchards where wistfully
She takes tea with angels, in my thoughts (inside)
There is no future only always for heavens smile joyfully
Playfully she knows her spirit rather well
Watching me fall in Love, so deep in the spell
Of words she writes relieves
'Oh my soul'
I know what she believes
There is a ghost that grieves
Still, haunting in my hemisphere
Underneath an earthly star somewhere.
