Moving To Alice

Alice had a house in Oklahoma
Before she moved to Wonderland
On a certain evening of the previous day,
It's rumored her mama stole her Soma
Something Alice could never stand
With all the world turning overcast, dreary gray,
Night time rain ran like rivers filling all the holes
Where rabbits dream of fields of green summer light
What had she seen so long ago so all alone up high
Alice holds her inner flame her name is secret, so sigh
I somehow lost the path I thought she walked changing roles
Just for a moment let me be you, we might
Move back home some day when your head and hands reduce
Alice dear I fear I've lost my way, really no excuse
May excuse me the way I saw you disappear
Deep down into the avenue away so near.

This poem is such a treat, letting my eyes wander through the streets painted so well by your hand, it gave me much, much pleasure.
