Madame Tussaud politicians posture, pose as they swill
Their gluttonous misconceptions at Yhe Publique Til,
See the stick figure mantis made up in beige
Smugly gloss over the current atrocious outrage
While the files of muddled minions nod and bob as though at something sage,
All harken to the mock turtle come to address The Press
Just another page from the same old cover story, (written in the hidden room)
Where infernal fires bleed through, temporal membranes leaky in such brains
The ring of power tightens just like a noose with no intent to let loose it's prey
"I heard the news today, oh boy."
