Nome Gnome On The Brain
Once the city of Nome Alaska
boasted of a snowcastle building
team that were the state champions.
This team was was called
The Nome Fancy Dome
Fabricators.
The chamber of commerce plastered billboards
all over the city with the slogan.
GO NOME.
Soon there was not a single
gnome to be found anywhere
in the city.
Gnomes are notoriously poor
at spelling but surprisingly
adept at nomenclature.
