Grey
Here lies,
a life time,
an age withered,
in wait, in longing
Beneath the cracks and wilting hues,
emerges again a bygone bloom,
Echoes run amock,
of words that chose to linger on
The corridors with memories embedded,
line up in reluctant ovation
A window pane,
hazy and corroded
Stands out from grim and gloom
An image plays, in a random loop
A reminder perhaps of familiar pain
Here lie my happy days,
Here dwells,my darling, you...
