Ghosts In The Rain

In a garden pale b l u e
In the summer in a silent r a i n
Within a world of words where children slept
Underneath the dreaming trees novels wept

Violet seas of flowering cocoons covering luminescent limbs
Seas trembling
Resembling
Waves of islands castaway thoughts like interwoven leaves
Your slender arms of yore which wore the wonderment that weaves
Time into an amulet like charms

Of once

In the summer in a s i l e n t r a i n
Within a world of words where children slept
In a garden p a l e b l u e
Underneath the dreaming trees novels wept . . .

An atmospheric piece from M. Whethers. We're intrigued by the weeping novels and quite enchanted by the violet seas. Is 'ej' Elizabeth Jill, we wonder? And are those her arms? There is much to muse upon here.
Applause!

Very beautiful. It has a dreamy quality to it and the garden world is almost fairytale like.
