Some So Alone

Some go out together
Some so alone
It seems forever face to the stone,
Life's guilty pleasure says sin is wrong
To hurt the weak, reward the strong,
Of the darkness that dims the light
Come rolling slowly or overnight
You lose a loved one you lose yourself
It always hurts you more like nothing else,
This heavy weather wears out your coat
The sheep are slaughtered to get your goat,
Like birds of a feather
Time to atone
Some go out together
Some so alone
👽.

An interesting poem. For some reason it makes me think of gangs hurting others at night.
