It Was Raining

It was raining in my heart my Light
You were as a burning flower in the sky
I reached beyond my grasp with longing
Into this holy fire where Love was thronging
Hoping to touch the notes you sang
Which like flocks of doves did fill the Night,
Your hair, your eyes, dreams of Art
It was raining in my ❤ heart
As the bells of Heaven rang . . . .

This is poetry at it's best... such a flow, so much said, in small space, but great in it's passion... lovely thought, and lovely soul
