A Veil All Around

A strange light falls like a veil all around
Where she walks like the ghost of greenery past
Memory of skies haunting wintry grey eyes
Look within, ( worlds revolving spin) gravity lost
Tied to wraiths of summer grasses and the frost
Spirits gathered upon ephemeral panes sing icy notes in the lanes,
Written in a foreign script oh so close to home
Hands are spies sent on missions of encryption
To find her hidden behind a beauty beyond description,
There is no mind, no tongue to talk, no voice to sound
Where she walks like the ghost of greenery past
A strange light falls in kind, like a veil all around.

Hauntingly nice.

Mmmmm, how delicious. Suggestions of a season perhaps, or the personification of another. Lovely, all the same.
