The Darkness Of Alone

As() was searching through the darkness of alone my thought
Saw you reach among a throng of graying boulders for a light
My hands were feeling far and wide for a beach of paper white
Upon which to write the words I felt for you so deep within the night
Like two lost souls feeding upon each others wishes with hopeless hope
Perhaps we only were just Children of The Fall
Thought I heard you singing from oh so faraway one day lost
Found you free as flight sitting still in your cathedrals under ancient trees
I learned to pray for what may never be, and I fought
For a while, in my human clothes of wherewithal
As() was searching through the darkness of alone my thought . . .

Very good, it has an ethereal quality. I like the line "in my human clothes of wherewithal".
