a ribbon round season's wonder
a ribbon round season's wonderbeen round this whole
country
met all kinds --
nice ones-- loose ones
ones who had lost
their minds
they were the
best
young ones -- old ones
mystic players in a play so old
scenes are
new
sudden springs arrive
ones who waited may see
another
round season's wonder
whether they observe it
or no
ones who own
ones who lie
ones who unfalteringly
tell the truth
a distinct minority
truth never changes
it's always truth
comes wrapped in only
one package
tied
with a ribbon
of stardust.
