To meet again

The rain caught up with me
walking from the bus
on my way back home

to where loneliness exists, and warmth between the four walls of my home

to a book, about philosophy,
Socrates is teaching the others how to take aim
at important things

and I, happy to be in that company
listening to the Master of ceremony

But I am still
by my self, after the book is closed

waiting for love
to arrive
from heaven

we fly nowadays, human kind,
makes it easy to meet

perhaps we can chat over a meal and ideologies

I will cook for you,
and you bring the soulful company

We agree with all the other comments and we join Ashe in hoping the lady will arrive soon. Sage Coo, in proactive mode, encourages you to go out and start some conversations with various women. 'That is a wonderful way to make merry' :>)

This is quite nice. I hope that the two of you can have your meal and discussion. I suggest taking care with the latter.

This is a very visual poem. I can see the rain on the cobblestone streets and feel the warmth of the four walls of the familiar apartment. The company of Socrates isn't bad company. The invitation to love is very warm. I hope she will arrive soon.+
