Because my gallbladder will be removed(finally!) thoughts of what may happen if things go wrong during the surgery brought this poem to life*enjoy* :)

Beyond the embrace

I will miss you when I die, take me with you because I don't mean that I will leave you when I die a part of me is always with you even when you don't think of me. Forget me if you must. I will smile when you smile and cry when you cry you will simply won't be able to see me only feel me while you cry or laugh. But right now smile because this is not the end.

Beyond our embrace

Holding me close in your arms
Is not the only proof that we exist
For each other

I hope all goes well for you. This is a lovely piece about remembrance and existence. Perhaps the two never part.

"beyond the embrace," we carry each other in this realm, and beyond. it's memory and love and it's real.

best wishes for a speedy recovery.

First of all best wishes, second, as we get older our sense of our own mortality grows, I had cancer in my twenties with three young children, so I relate very much with the human fear and want x
