I in I love you weeps in why

I in I love you weeps in why
standing by a sullen shore
dipping tardiness in crystal water

it is getting late my love
a cool spring night in my arms
drips like a melting kind of going

dance red coat boot and tail
there are stories in our lives
images fading with wind

there are summer days
never promised
and yet so full of yearning

there is a goodbye lingering
in the heat of the sun
in the scent of the garden

This beautiful sadness. The I in I love you is weeping...
My heart breaks because of this first stanza. Waiting along a sullen shore...Why? are you late..
So much too lose,
Tremendous loss, history, and what was to be.
Your poetry affects me personally.
Powerfully moving!

I do not get the story, but I do the feel of the words, the poem, such a treat ... great
