After the flood
The birds chirp
the calm has set
the wave came back
after being miles away
To the shore
to my hand
to my mind
and to my eyes
the storm has set
like the sun
did yesterday
The wings are spread
with feathers on all sides
all upon the skies
nature speaks its language
and makes its own rules
in hieroglyphs
under the clouds
birds make houses on the trees
waiting for bees to pollinate the flowers
nature plays its beautiful strings
and I
am listening to their
symphony at dawn
