After the flood

The birds chirp

the calm has set

the wave came back
after being miles away

To the shore

to my hand

to my mind

and to my eyes

the storm has set

like the sun

did yesterday

The wings are spread

with feathers on all sides

all upon the skies

nature speaks its language

and makes its own rules

in hieroglyphs

under the clouds

birds make houses on the trees

waiting for bees to pollinate the flowers

nature plays its beautiful strings

and I

am listening to their

symphony at dawn

You bring back all the memories of the flood, figuratively and metaphorically. This is a poem that radiates happiness. A pleasure to read.+

What a wonderful piece. Perhaps you are Noah after the flood.
Make sure you have two of everything :)

How lovely the world is after the flood. All things become new! Beautifully written and I am at the symphony hearing the earth rejoice as I watch the most radiant sky fill with the images painted by the brush your words. Thrilling! Applause!!
