Mother Natures Anger

Blowing breezes, wind chimes sing
Who knows what today's weather will bring
Clouds in the sky, dark and mean
Pouring rain makes grass green
Earth drinks until can't drink any more
Here comes the floods across the floor
Families run to the door
Mother Natures angry, her fury rages
I can no longer see the rain guages
Angry winds scream fiercely and loud
Blacker than black storm clouds
Pieces of homes and trees in the sky
Funnel cloud creeping down, see it fly
Pain and destructive what it brings
When it ends, it destroyed everything
Darkness slowly starts to fade
Trees are gone, no more shade
Blowing winds, silence reigns
Out from the rubble you can see the plains
Mother natures anger is finally gone
Slowly you open your eyes here comes the dawn

Yes I do like the poem. Mother nature does vent her anger and you have portrayed this beautifully, the line that really stood out for me was, "trees are gone no more shade."

Mother Nature will always get her revenge on the destruction we, humans, have caused her. Very descriptive poem.
