As strange as ever, the third installment in my random four-line poems collection...

Random Four-Line Poems III

Oh, how I long to just waste away the days
Silently returning your walnut-almond gaze
Your whisper falls like music upon my waiting ears
Alas! In such a stupor, I could last a thousand years.

lOlolOlolOl

Sparks flying
embers dying
Love deceased
and dewdrops crying...

lOlolOlolOl

Once upon a time
I could gaze into your eyes
and see myself reflected in the
splintered rays of light...

lOlolOlolOl

I can't hear you, but I know
you're calling out my name
I don't want you now, and I---
I know you feel the same.

lOlolOlolOl

Show me where you're hiding
where my love is now residing
My time, I'm through with biding
Come out, or this is through.

lOlolOlolOl

Crystalline teardrops fail to charm
the coldest of the men I know;
whilst I'm aware they mean no harm
I just wish they would let me go...

lOlolOlolOl

Let me die now
Or else I'll kill you
Vain is my desire
Even as we die...

These are really good. I especially enjoyed the line "and dewdrops crying..." the imagery and wording just strikes me as genius. Thanks for the brain food and entertainment.

What's this? Two new ones tonight? God, I envy you. While I was getting absolutely tortured by a pair of nine-year-olds and their rabid dog, you were here writing beautiful poetry...

I love all of these, but especially the second and third one. Most especially the third one. It made me stop and go "omgwtffuckinggodIwantGermanyandfallingasleeponbusesstaringintohiseyesandsmellinghimontheblankethelentmeandwakingupwithhishandsinmyhairandhiswhisperinmyearalskhskdjha'ioflsh;lak'flokihsdkljah;dkjfh;dsagsdagfa."

I miss everything, do you know?
