Caribbean Sun
Monday morning rush,It looks like everybody's parking.
I finally get to work.
I hear my old boss barking.
I need to get away
And escape this rut I'm in.
I need to get down to the sea
And feel that salt air on my skin.
Come away with me,
We both need more smilin'
Let's get away
And go down to the islands.
We'll sip on mai tais
And watch the setting sun.
Let's take off
For some Caribbean fun.
Blue sky and white sand
That warm tropical breeze.
Stretched out in a hammock
Tied between two big palm trees.
Crystal clear water
Begging us to take a dip.
I want us to be
Forever on this trip.
Come away with me,
We both need more smilin'
Let's get away
And go down to the islands.
We'll dance in the sand.
Until the morning comes
Let's take off
For the Caribbean sun.
Someday my darlin',
We'll make the great escape.
Before this stress
Crushes us just like a grape.
We'll sell off everything
And tell everyone goodbye.
Start a new life
In the islands, you and I.
Come away with me,
We both need more smilin'
Let's get away
And go down to the islands.
We'll just make love
Until the morning comes.
Let's take off
For the Caribbean Sun.
