One Last Time

You lace up your boots one last time
To go fight on the front line
Because it gives you hope
One last time you climb in that truck
Your commander says good luck
The gate opens and the truck drives away
During that time you pray
Hear me God I pray to you
One last time for me and my crew
Help us win the fight
I want to go home tonight
One last time the fight as been won
Now you can put down your gun
One last time you stand with your crew
Bow your heads and say "Lord we will forever pray to you

So much deeper than you think. That's life. But, God bless the soldiers. Thanks for reminding us of their sacrifice
