If I could
and if I could,I would
run with the breeze
straight back
into the arms of yours.
Climb that hill
and fly
as I shout
your name to the sky,
I would
and if I could
I should
love to love again,
in the sun
in the rain,
in an electric storm
when static
crackles
with our words of love.
and if I could
I surely would
freeze a moment
for eternity
and love
the love
that came and went
the day
I closed that door
and walked away
carrying just
a fragment
of a heart to heart
entwined
for more and all
until the day I part
and dwell
in otherness with you.
