Modern Way of Life

This is how we live.
A modern way of life.
This is how we love.
A bitter kind of strife.

We detonate our bombs.
The fragments of our self.
We hide inside our womb.
Everlasting mother of gloom.

We have lost our sense of touch.
Our feelings are growing old.
We stab each other red.
We walk this thin line thread.

We are pieces of a map.
A puzzle drowning hearts.
We are lost inside this trap.
These ununited parts.

We travel speed of light.
Such a sad, ugly sight.
We forget to breathe life in.
Such a misty, mortal sin.

This is how we live.
A bitter kind of strife.
This is how we love.
A modern way of life.

Zoya Zaidi
You write such poetry blue,
You tear my heart through;
I try to regain my calm again,
Fail miserably to regain,
The former aquanimity;
This the power of your poetry!

((((hugs My dear friend Dan))))

As you usaul you blow me off my feet,
With the sheer power of your poertry....

Love, xxx, Zoya

This is really good. Apart from ununited, which I understand just do not have a replacement word for it's a great write.
