Searching for that someone special
Are we waiting
until something better maybe comes along
does the uncertain future
holds us back from it, to live alone
Are we walking through the day
slowly with carefull footsteps
as if we might step back
we are so ready, for backsteps
Is it because we are waiting
maybe for someone better to come along
and we wouldnt have time to spend
searching, trying, living..then, maybe finding
Do we open our eyes to look around us
or look forward
or are we closing our visions
because we don't believe, or don't dare
to believe that love is out there
Are we just waiting
for that special someone to come along
to dive up into our life from nowhere
or do we sit in denial and refuse the moment
or not wanting to be out there
in this life as a searcher
Because, what if we search
and end up with empty hands
another broken vision
another failed relationship
