Who are we to Judge

Judging is a very big word
It means a lot but yet not so important
Who are we to judge people
walking by stumbling and making mistakes
outside the laws written book?

Who are we to judge that skinny girl
(She's anorexic)

Who are we to judge that big sized girl
(Fat)

Who are we to judge that costume man
(He's rich and snobby)

Who are we to judge that trailor living family
(Poor)

Who are we to judge that sexy dressed girl
(A Prostitute)

Who are we to judge that feminine gai
(Gay)

Who are we to judge that pretty blonde girl
(Bimbo)

Who are we to judge that quite little boy
(geek)

Who are we to judge that tough school boy
(Idiot)

When will the world draw the line
of too much judging
When will the end of judging apear
judging our selves and others

Who are we to judge...

Zoya Zaidi
And who are we to judge?
Yes, is it strange that sometimes
Lives can be ruined because people
are judged and labrelled good, bad,
Fat or ugly; black, fair, poor or rich!

((((Hugs for a very thought provoking piece, Malin))))

Love, xxx, Zoya

Mirage
Well written!

Yes, why do we judge? It seems we have a constant and urgent need to judge. All the time, in our heads.
Judging others, judging ourselves.
Comparing comparing. Endlessly.

Those contant judgmental thought-chains are draining us. No wonder we feel exhausted, many of us!
I wish we could switch to the channel
COMPASSION instead :-)

Malin, you have addressed a topic that is one that is so important to me and you have done it so very well. Very effectively done with a "punch to the gut" to get the attention of us all. Thank you, Kathy

A very astute observation. Measurement, judgement, discrimination i believe maybe one of the biggest ills of the human condition. I have often wondered why we do it. Maybe, so we can find our place in the world. Give ourselves a point of reference, so we can define who we are as an individual or not as the case may be. But yes as you rightly say judging is so very damaging to us all. And worst of all, society uses it to prey on our fears and control us.
