The Last Farewell!

Death spreads it's jealous wings.
Tied up by those evil strings.
Let loose by desired will.
Carried away by passionate thrill.

Anxiety crawls down my spine.
Eager to fight this boredom of mine.
Worried sick by the virus around.
Fragile sanity and blood on the ground.

With this fear I thee wed.
Marry me on my deathbed.
Promise me you'll make me well.
It is time for the last farewell.

This is gripping!!! I am struck my the purity of its ringing of the bells. Those that toll at the end of our lives. So many emotions welling up, I cannot explain them. How do I express all that is within me because of what I just read. You have great power in your "pen." Brilliant!

Whenever I read poem like this,
Something inside me just twists;
How is it that you manage to create,
So effectively, these feelings so desolate?

((((Hugs Dan for another poignant piece))))

You know, you are one of the very few people, I am always in a little awe of!

Love, xxx, Zoya
