too much sadness

heart decay

Shall I pray to wake up in Heaven?

Shall I plea to die here on Earth?

There is too much sorrow and fear in this living.

Too much crying, and sighing, and no worth.

A war is waging full of battles

Inside the minds of those who feel screams and hear pain.

Volcanic eruptions cause hearts to bleedout leaving

Deep scars stained and sealed in afterbirth.

Sweet babies lost in destruction.

Sweet mamas dripping milk.

Where are the papas running,

While the children are feeling guilt?

There is a darkness looming.

The waters and sky become one, once more.

It is the time of Alpha and Omega;

The Reckoning, the coming of the Lord.

These days of nights are within me

And cover my soul, my spirit, my light.

So shall I speak with language?

Or, shall I write the visions of my blight?

This is extremely good. And unfortunately it seems true for the world. The sensitive people of this world have heavy hearts at this time. In the past when wars raged we somehow believed that the innocent were being spared and people freed. It was probably not that true but these days with with everything reported in detail it is just soul destroying.

Prophesy! This would seem to be the time for it. Nicely done, Kathy.

You and Alarian both see the Apocalypse upon us, for different reasons (in his poem "facebook").

This poem is inspired writing, a drama of end-times. To pick a few lines of the many, these are remarkable:

Sweet babies lost in destruction.
Sweet mamas dripping milk.
Where are the papas running,
While the children are feeling guilt?

Your last two lines, the questions you ask, I think this poem answers them, you are writing visions of your blight.
