abbreviated spaces
abbreviated spacesabbreviated spaces
between pauses
there is honey on the doorknob
again, and bees want to know why
spider silk is hanging in the corner
i like the decoration
messages are taped here and there
in my office that i haven't read since posted
i keep them any way
just to remind myself there is life outside this space
numbers I have never called
never call me
I have a ream of paper left
its pure white tickles my sense of production –
i saw a Persian doctor last week
he told me I was going to die
I told him that i knew that --
just don't know when
makes it real, that part
makes it adventurous, living
my desk is a mess, and I don't care
it's been this way from ever since
we're anachronisms
we humans
roaches cannot wait for us to leave
they can come out from under the carpets
birds will nest in our houses
being vacant
if humanity is to survive itself
it best grab hold of its ass now and whip it
whip it fine
whip it until it pays attention
all the pretty ladies
with all the pretty smiles --
are nothing but skulls covered
with incredible skin
cell-phones are ringing all over
the planet
queen of hearts is listening
with nothing to say
pull-chain on my desk lamp is tarnished
dust on the shade
i never touch the pull-chain
have one of the seven year fluorescent bulbs in
i am testing it to see
which one of us will last
the longest.
