This is weird. I know it. After what happened in Chicago and now with Ft. Lauderdale, I'm feeling very fractured and strange/weird. Sorry.
A Fracture Tale of Eden
Watched a spider with red dots on her back
Build her home without measure or hammer or tack
Saw two cardinals doing the tango
Female soft tan, male bright red, a touch of black
Patterns and colors in this world are many
Creatures and the created are palettes of plenty
Designs designed by the Artist of all
Earth, moon, sun, -- galaxies through infinity
Flora and Fauna, fraternal friends, one could say
Born into being and developed along the way
Days, years--thousands, millions, or more
Time certainly passes leaving clue-prints someday
All is beautiful and details are fine and good
The garden is flourishing, blossoming as it should
Some One is missing-- someone new
O the days, of the time, and the tree, and of Man, in the wood
`
`
`
Where is the spider and where are the birds?
They've bombed the garden; haven't you heard?
