as the previous file named "poems from april 215 and forward" (203 poems) is sent to an american publisher with a very positive view of my poetry I have now started a new file "poems from january 2017 and forward"
this is the first one

do not salute devils dawn you fool

do not salute devils dawn you fool
flawed by the immensity of useless death
solitary trees stretch in small men
catching fire behind the wheel
intentions are we steam and storm
lurking in a day's rolling aftermath
I smell sulfur in a rain of lime
hurry my dear hear me still
we must walk across fear and steeds
fords where dread runs like dead water
and if someone asks you for a coin
run while you still can
