Life in the nursing home by Ann Wood
At the nursing homelive people with Dementia
or some other illnesses.
They are at different ages
and nationality.
They all are lonely
and sad.
Some of them
may not have
family living near by.
They need help
with daily living needs.
Some of them
can not get out of bed,
by themselves
and need hoisting.
Other need wheelchairs
or walking aids.
They cry and smiles
and need to be loved,
and to belong to this world.
Some of them need
to be feeding and dressed
at the morning.
Every day they
have different activities.
Some of them like to cooking.
Other to work in the garden.
Some like to
doing arts or poetry.
They also playing
different games
or going out for
day trip with mini bus.
At night they go to bed
and staff have to
check them regularly
and help them
go to the toilet
or give them drinks.
People living with
Dementia need more
help of their care workers
and families.
But they are normal
people like us
just have to live with Dementia.
