Perfectly Imperfect
wish you could see that i wont conform.I wont give in to your routine.
break me down, curse me, hate me,
i dont care. I'll never change
I'm deadly like a panther,
muscles tensing and stretching beneath the skin
as i pace back and forth in the cage i'm in
take your normal
and go somewhere
i am fine being perfectly imperfect.
every time you come to me
begging me to just calm down, your asking me to
tame a part of who i am. A wild trait
given by birth thats deathly and innate.
it's attached just like a body part
cant take it away.
I wont conform, wont give in to your routine
take your normal and go somewhere
i am fine being perfectly imperfect.
accept me or deny me. Love me or leave me.
One thing for certain I will survive and thrive
with or without me, can you say you can do the same?
so comfortable in your routine, conformed into society.
take your normal and go somewhere
i am fine being perfectly imperfect.
break me, hate me, curse me, i dont care.
I wont change.
