The Taste of Words
A is sweet, juice running down your chin sweetB is dark and broody
C crunches like a new apple
D fizzes on your tongue
E is slerped down your throat like a noodle
F is spicy
G squelches on your tongue
H is bubbly and sweet like Coca-Cola
I is cold and icy, like a morning in December
J is neutral in taste and texture
K catches in your throat and refuses to budge
L twists and turns in your mouth
M is bitter and full of juices
N burns your nose when you burb, like soda
O is round and sweet and chewy
P is short and sweet and full of charm
Q crunches with a salty aftertaste
R is spicy and hard
S is full of sap that runs down your throat
T is dry and tasteless
U winds its way around your tongue and leaves its bitter aftertaste
V is quick and sour
W is much like V, tart but sweet in the same way
X is like sawdust
Y is quiet and sweet, a letter by itself
Z is chewy and minty
