Summer Spins
Summer spins her feathers fairSilent webs catch the light
There's no one there,
Shall she freeze your features fixed
In mirror gaze hypnotic guesses
Save your pleas so many tricks
To take your breath inside her dresses
Winter thins away your hair
Tipping scales into night
What once was where
Dissolves into vistas sight unseen
Behind the violets between the green
Silent secrets someone whispered
Almost near
Ever dear
Still you fear,
There's no one there
Silent webs catch the light
