Nobody knows

Nobody knows, that deep in my heart I keep me secret.
I laugh when I'm supposed to, but it ain't often I know why.
They say I'm there, but I alone know, that I'm nowhere, but deep in my heart.
I try to make everything that touches them touch me, but the absence of teenage feelings in my heart, is touchable.
It pains a lot to know, that what they say, and what they do, I will never understand all of it.

I was immediately drawn in by the very first line: Nobody knows, that deep in my heart I keep me secret.

I tend to be an emotional writer as well and so favor other emotional poetry.

If you skip the 'teenage' part I would say I know this feeling.
