Sisyphus
how gratifying is philosophyexacting toil and tears
'though big in heart
not arrogant
as dullards suppose
reflecting their own image
in the mirror of self-deception
their aims so far from mine
i have never understood the desire
to embrace conceptual poverty
and condemn as scholarly
we followers of Sisyphus
