Cerberus

genetics gone mad
or conceptual dissidence

guardian of a darker place
allergic to the flat heat
of a bronze sky

burnished Greek reflections
formed by the 'form'
mysterious and grim
dimly portrayed
in the sword of Damocles

above these two
'the laughing hero'
dances in his chains

a trichotomy left unresolved
the dust-covered
failure of love
