First one I wrote in my poetry workshop

Lagori

Seven different stones,

Some round, some flat

Piled up to make a fort.

I'm up first

The ball strikes

And as stones scatter,

So does my team.

Checked skirts sway

As we dodge the ball,

Trying to rebuild

What was smashed.

One,

Two,

The ball hits my shoe

'Out' yells my enemy

Another checked skirt

Gets down in the dirt

Piling stones meticulously

Five

Six

A wobbly seven

'Lagori, lagori, lagori!’

Seven different girls

Some round, some flat

Pile into their classroom

Smiles intact.
