Between tears and death
Piercing scream fills the empty aira dream so real, containing fear;
blinking eyes adjust to the light
thoughts of confusion are alight.
Droplets of water cascade down the face
of a person unknown, found in the daybreak;
shivering cold, she fights to the end
faints in the breeze, almost lost around the bend.
Brinking on a lifeline that seems to be
half on, half off, she continues to dream;
caught between the clouds and eternal paradise
she comes back to life with tears in her eyes.
