Relentless would be this onrushing tide
claiming its ground with such alien power
No sins to wash away and cleanse
For those souls it shall surely devour

Onwards and spreading, its grasp unrelenting
Such is the way of this plague on us all
Shielding and deflection, abates its infection
White coated scientists have made that call

Isolation that breeds desolation
Familiar faces become strangers to all
The battle continues, our fates undecided
Statistical numbers will again start to fall

One weapon possessed will prove our resolve
As we stand at this gateway to hell
