Think of one soul by Ann Wood

Think of one soul

My green-eyed girl
and you like me after the clouds
  are you running?
In the turbulent times we live in,
realized that tomorrow we may not come to life,
How are you today my green eyed girl?
Do you still love life a lot?
Outdated, but didn't stop the clouds from chasing,
even if your dreams come true,
today, there is a trumpet from everywhere,
a war against an invisible enemy,
a Crown Virus - stuck firmly on the door of every home and doorstep.
My green-eyed girl,
  today I'm parting with you,
  even though I love you,
I know you may be gone tomorrow,
but life again if not for you,
  for others it will continue.

After all the trials and tribulations, ups and downs, heartaches to headaches yet life goes on and on. This is one on the money heck of a write with a strange twist that's repeated when you least expect it to take place. I guess ya gotta go through the storms of life to reach the shelter of the proper arms born to embrace you when the time is right. Thanks for the post. Great write and hello there, it's been awhile huh? Thanks again.
